Holiday Ho Down

I don't really know how drunk I am. The very sad thing is I've only had one glass of booze and it's made me very tipsy. I must just be accustomed to watered down bar drinks that have more ice in them than alcohol. Or maybe it was because Diana used dark rum instead of white rum. Who knows. Whatever the reason...I'm a bit tipsy and have already started doing the stupid things you're not supposed to do when you're drunk. Such as:

  • Calling people: My internet fiance in BC. We're going to try and meet before we get married, but if we don't, meh.
  • Talking to people I wouldn't normally talk to on msn
  • Posting a bulletin on myspace about how everybody needs to watch The Muppet Christmas Carol RIGHT NOW. Ok I admit I did that last night when I was completely sober. Still, it would sound a lot better if I was drunk.
  • Adding "Grandma got run over by a reindeer" to my myspace.
  • Repeatedly telling people I'm drunk
  • Not seeing people when I walk into a room
  • Yelling at people with vulgar language for getting the muppet/sesame street Christmas mixed up with A Muppet Christmas Carol
  • Staring wide eyed at nothing in particular
It still doesn't feel like Christmas to me even though I just had my first gift exchange and it was full of goodness and rumness. I even spilled my rum on me and innocently turned to Diana and said "Diana......I have rum crotch." to which she responded by falling backwards laughing. Luckily rum dries apparently fast with a hair dryer. The hard part is fending off the dog who wants to lick it. Wrong on SO many levels.

I'm really craving a nap right now but I have gifts to wrap and people to visit. Either way I should go. Although the babbling thing...it's really quite fun. That is to say, I like it.

Being drunk is weird. It makes me feel all....weird.

I'm a horrible person. I didn't return the much love. What is it with people you don't really know that well sending you much love??? Stop with the gushiness! I DON'T LOVE YOU.

Merry Christmas
